Achievement Awards
"Every railroad has tracks, facilities, equipment and technology," said Matt Rose, BNSF chairman, president and chief executive officer. "What sets us apart is what BNSF people do with our assets. Our people really make the difference every day.
"The BNSF Achievement Awards program, which recognizes Team BNSF members, is one way of showing our respect and appreciation for your talent and achievements," Rose said.
The BNSF Achievement Award, developed in 1999, recognizes Team BNSF members who demonstrate BNSF's Vision & Values through initiative, efficiency, timeliness, vigilance, knowledge or innovation beyond what their normal job requires.
Any BNSF employee is eligible for a BNSF Achievement Award. Employees may win more than one award during their careers. Any BNSF supervisor may nominate a person for an award. Employees may be nominated using the BNSF Achievement Awards Nomination channel on the @BNSF > Communications subtab of employee.bnsf.com.
"Every Team BNSF member has the opportunity to make a difference in service, performance, customer relations and safety to name a few areas," Rose said. "As part of BNSF's vision, we know we have succeeded when our employees work in a safe environment free of accidents and injuries, are focused on continuous improvement, share the opportunity for personal and professional growth that is available to all members of our diverse workforce, and take pride in their association with BNSF. And the BNSF Achievement Award program helps to recognize employees who are succeeding in their personal and professional growth."
