For select commodities a popup window appears asking whether you need tranlsoad services at origin. Click Yes or No, as appropriate.

2.Select Origin(s) using the appropriate procedure below:

To select an origin without transload services, either click a color-coded area on the map, or type the City, select the State, and click Validate. If you have more than one origin, repeat this process for each. (Tip:You can remove an origin by clicking on the corresponding below 2.Origin.)

To select an origin with transload services, type the Shipment Size (number of truckloads) and Origin Zip Code, and select whether or not you need Drayage. If you have more than one origin, repeat the process for each. (Tip: To display a list of zip codes to choose from, click Find () to the right of the Zip Code field.

3. Click 3. Destination

For select commodities a popup window appears asking whether you need transload services at destination. Click Yes or No, as appropriate.

To select a destination without transload services, either click a color-coded area on the map, or type the City, select the State, and click Validate. If you have more than one destination, repeat this process for each. (Tip:You can remove a destination by clicking on the cooresponding below 3.Destination.)

To select a destination with transload services, type the Shipment Size (number of truckloads) and Destination Zip Code, and select whether or not you need Drayage. If you have more than one destination, repeat the process for each.

After a short delay while prices are calculated, the Prices page appears with a table that displays calculated prices and comparison prices. (Tip: Underlined text in the Prices table indicates you can click to display detailed information.)

Prices that include transload services are calculated and displayed per truck.

In addition to comparing prices to truck, you can choose to view transload rail price results in railcars or your own unit of measure by using the toggle buttons above the price results.
